Brown Family of Susan J. Dorey

Marietta Brown married Michael Bryne in 1852 and lived with him on Cape Cod in Truro, MA. She had five children and died shortly after the last one was born. This is what I know about her parental family and the family of her older brother.

For some time I wondered how an Irishman living on Cape Cod married a woman born in Maine. Then I discovered her family had moved to Cape Cod before 1845 (when brother Obadiah married there).

There is a Nettie Brown, granddaughter to Obadiah Sumner Brown, who was likely Nancy Atwood Brown. She lived with Obadiah in 1880.
